Yoga, RYT 500
Rebecca Fox (RYT 500) has dedicated herself to the practice, study and teaching of yoga since living at Kripalu in 2001 and working in their Healing Arts Department. Her formal training in the discipline of Hatha Yoga took place at Sivananda in 2002. She has since been a vital member of their global community. She combines elements of Anusara and Iyengar into a dynamic and inspiring alignment-based flow. Her classes range from peaceful and relaxing Chakra and Gentle Yoga to sweat-inducing Vinyasa and Power flows. She infuses her passion for yoga in each posture, giving gentle and encouraging cues with particular emphasis on the breath and the healing potential of the present moment

I am originally from Key West, FL where my wonderful father had me in the gym at an early age. His passion for health and fitness became mine as well. So began my career as a Group Fitness Instructor for over 25 years and a Personal Trainer for nearly 18 years. My goal in life is to help get people fit and healthy for life!

I have been a student of Yoga since the year 2000, and a registered Yoga teacher for the past 2 years, with experience teaching various forms of Yoga. Yoga is a passion that will keep me learning and growing for the rest of my life. That passion spills over into my teaching, as I come to every class fully prepared with a well thought out practice utilizing strength and flexibility while gently and safely pushing comfort zone boundaries.
Fitness has always played an important of my life. At the age of 8, I began with dance lessons. When I was introduced to Zumba three years ago the two areas of my life meshed into one. I cannot think of a better way to stay fit while at the same time enjoying dancing. Come join me in class and dance yourself to a fit, firm body.

I first stepped into a gym at age 28 shortly after giving birth to my twins. I really enjoyed working out and seeing the changes happening as I was starting to feel healthier and more confident in myself. I decided in 2016 to challenge myself and become an instructor! I enjoy what I do and I enjoy working with others who want to achieve the same kind of goals. Fitness is a journey and I encourage everybody to give it a try!
I am a Certified Athletic Trainer and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist along with being a Spin Instructor. I love teaching spin because anyone can do it. The class is all about you! You pick the resistance and ride along with the class. I love helping people become more fit and to help them change their life.
